Jimmer Fredette

April 25, 2011 12:37 am

We have a first round draft pick from the evil Nets, that have Deron, and we need to get someone really good based on how this season ended. Our point guard is decent with Harris, and Raja is not cutting it at SG. Jimmer can play both of these positions. He is obviously a great shooter and a decent point guard. The question is whether or not we can get him, or if he is worth it? He will bring in fans, basically all of Utah is in love with the kid, so revenue bonus there. Tough questions, what do you think?

Carlos Boozer

July 10, 2009 11:18 pm

Boozer crys when he dosent get what he wants and hes injured 75%time of the year i dont really like him. He's good sure, but that good? Dont think so. Glad the Jazz are at least TRYING to get rid of him and keep Millsap But it'lll be tough. After the Blazers offered Millsap a 4 year 36 million dollar offer. We'll see.

Paul Milsap vs Carlos Boozer

July 10, 2009 7:01 pm

I am so excited that the Jazz are putting their money and faith in Paul Milsap. Carlos Boozer sat on the sidelines for too long because of his injured thigh. How did Boozer pay Utah back? By allowing his agent to announce that Boozer would like to explore other teams while still injured and just weeks before the playoffs. Bye bye Boozer and thank you Paul Milsap for staying with the Utah Jazz. Milsap is the future of the Jazz and 2008-09 season will be better with Milsap.

Question for this group

June 26, 2009 11:38 pm

Your group is called Utah Jazz fanatics. The Jazz participated in the NBA draft last night and yet no one else has posted in nearly a month? Have you "fanatics" given up on the Jazz, canceled your CBS account or are you really not Jazz fanatics? Where is everyone in this group?

Very Shaky Draft for Jazz

June 26, 2009 12:38 am

I guess the only good thing that can be said about the Eric Maynor pick is the Brevin Knight era is officially over. With so many needs in the frontcourt and wings who can make outside shots or create off the dribble they went with a tweener guard who dominated inferior competition. Considering their last 2 first rounders have barely seen the floor, Maynor may actually play due to the fact that Sloan knows he will only have to play him 10 minutes a game.

Would have like to seen them get Blair, yeah he slipped but watch him kill it for the Spurs or Gibson who is 6'10 super long athletic and blocks shots, but no the Jazz don't need an athletic shot blocker, or Ellington who can create and make shots from anywhere, or Sam Young who is a versatile tough, scorer, rebounder and defender.

Not to worry though Jazz fans another slow big white guy from the Big 10 who averaged 10 points a game is on the way in Goran Suton. Great pick as the Jazz have had so much success with the above mentioned formula with guys like Humphries and Kufos.

Wasted picks, I hope Maynor proves me wrong but isn't he a lot like Ronnie Price who sat on the Jazz bench all year?

At least it's better than being a Suns fan, what are they doing?

The Nuggets add Ty Lawson, the Spurs get Jefferson and Blair, the Blazers are a year older, the Jazz are now the 3rd best team in their division and aside from Phoenix everyone seems to be getting better while the Jazz will be losing at least 2 of the following players Okur, Boozer, Millsap, Korver.
